A drunk driving charge can happen to anyone. Our criminal defense practice largely focuses on representing clients charged with Operating While Intoxicated (OWI). Nationally labeled as a DUI (Driving Under the Influence), an OWI charge can cripple someone professionally, cost him or her their license and land them in the county jail or state prison. Our firm represents approximately 30 clients per year who have been charged with an OWI. We have been in many contested hearings that focus on probable cause for the stop to highlighting errors in the Datamaster DMT breath test. However, our specialty is resolving drunk driving cases without any court litigation. We work with our clients to put them in a position to generate the best possible outcome in a difficult situation.
Our firm also handles countless other criminal cases every year. Whether it’s a retail fraud or driving while license suspended misdemeanor, or a serious felony charge, we are in court five days a week with clients faced with criminal charges. All of our judges and prosecutors know us and trust our counsel. We have also developed strong connections with our specialty courts including Sobriety Court, Drug Court, Veteran’s Court and Mental Health Court aimed at getting client’s positive outcomes without incarceration and toward a positive path in life.
